PAINTING CONDITIONS - Use in a well ventilated area. Use when temperature is between 10°C – 32°C (50°F – 90°F) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Avoid spraying in very windy and dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from overspray.
SURFACE PREPARATION - Complete any necessary surface repairs. For best results, prime and seal the surface before painting.
TESTING SPRAY PATTERN - Practice spraying texture onto cardboard or scrap drywall to determine the best technique that delivers the desired pattern.
APPLICATION - Shake can vigorously for one minute before spraying. Also shake occasionally throughout use. Hold can upright 35 – 50 cm (14 – 20”) from surface and begin spraying in a quick back and forth motion that covers the surface and matches the surrounding texture. Keep the can in motion while spraying. Note: If the product output or pressure slows, shake the can and then continue the application. If problems still persist, put the can under running hot water to improve the spray performance. Do not use near open flame.
DRY & RECOAT TIMES - Dry times are based on 21°C (70°F) and 50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to the touch in 60 minutes and to recoat in 60 minutes. Allow to dry for 24 hours before topcoating. Heavier textures may take more time to dry.
CLEAN-UP - After use, turn can upside down and press spray nozzle until the spray mist is clear to prevent clogging. Wipe off tip before storing. Clean-up wet paint with water. Properly discard empty container. Do not burn or place in home trash compactor.
CLOGGING - If the valve clogs, twist and pull off spray tip and rinse it in water. Do not stick a pin or other objects into the valve stem.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
